Hi Jane,

I think I'm still classed as a newbie (diagnosed in February). I have regular appointments with my specialist team and this has now included my doctor. My dosage of Methotrexate has now been up'd to 8 tablets once a week, steroids 7.5, folic acid once a week and now 2 Hydroxychloroquine tables have been introduced daily. I still have active arthritis and some pain so am being monitored. Apparently there is another drug or sets of drugs which you have to meet a criteria for and I would if the tablets I'm on do not do the job... but this is still very new to me so I do not fully understand yet!

I'm doing ok and still have a forward plan to get back cycling to work once I'm stabilised or even a fun family cycle BigGrin

Hello folks

I am still here, getting used to my medication but fingers crossed it seems to be doing something right. I went back on a horse for 30 minutes last week, the first time in many months and although my body ached for a couple of days afterwards it was really worth it. I felt normal again and there is a lot to be said for that.

Take care everyone and hope you are enjoying some sort of summer.

I'm not looking forward to Winter. Last Winter I was rock bottom with pain but I hadn't been diagnoised or on any medication. I'm hoping with the medication this Winter will be a bit more bearable Smile
